Here at Lashunds Dachshunds our dogs are a big part of our lives. Whether it be camping, kyaking, or dog shows. Where we go-they go. We do health testing on our dogs as recommended by the DCA. Showing our dogs brings me much joy! I started showing in junior handling as a teen with a Great Dane from my mothers show kennel – Ashbun Acres. My parents bought a dachshund from their Dane breeder friends and that was it for me. I started training him and one of the Danes in obedience. He even knew hand signals and scent retrieval. She signed him over to me for my birthday. I have loved the breed since those early days. And I want to preserve them as a breed. Come see us at the dog shows! We love to talk about Dachshunds!
